Dear Diary,
I don’t
understand why my friend Michelle is so mean. I told her a secret
about me liking Chris and she went and blabbed to her “new” friends
about it. Why would she do that? She promised she wouldn’t tell
anyone! Now her and her new friends all whisper about me when I am
around.

Being betrayed by
someone you thought was your friend is really hard to deal with.
Just remember, true friends will like you for who you are. These
girls will only hurt you if you let them. Find other girls who share
the same interests as you and remember that there are many people in
your school who might feel the same way you do and that you are not
alone. |
Dear Diary,
Sometimes
I don’t like how my friends treat other girls! I’ve tried to tell
them that some of the other girls are cool if you get to know them,
but then they gave me the silent treatment too. I don’t know what to
do sometimes.
~
It’s hard
to be stuck in the middle. But going along with the popular crowd
all the time isn’t always the right thing to do. Try to put yourself
in the other girls situation and see how you would feel if you were
the other girl, try to say positive things about other people
instead of the bad, and try to think about how what you’re saying
impacts other people. If you really don’t like what’s going on, try
hanging out with other people who don’t pressure you to act in a
way that you don’t like.
