Our web site,
namesdohurt.com is designed to raise awareness about relational
aggression (RA), a form of social bullying practiced mostly among
young girls. We
provide information in the form of games, activities and advice to
empower girls with the tools -information – vocabulary - sample
situations – expert advice -necessary to better recognize and handle
RA incidents.
We even give them the
opportunity to ask for advice as well as tell us what works for them
in the hope we may be able to incorporate their ideas in updates.
|
Adults too. We offer adult
information on this critical issue and provide links and
descriptions of other Internet resources which the adult may find
useful. Site
information on relational aggression is based on the numerous
studies and the extensive writings of behavioral experts in the
field.
Further, we encourage
adults - parents and teachers, for example - who have had
experiences dealing with relational aggression, to share them with
us. We hope to glean some of the best practices from visitors to the
site and update namesdohurt.com over time with periodic updates.
